Just a quick update today on why screens are bad on dryer vents. At this suite the resident had purchased a new dryer because the clothes were not drying. They were also getting ceiling leaks.
All this was caused simply because of a plugged exterior dryer vent screen. Once the screen was cleaned and changed to a larger one, there weren’t any more problems.
If your clothes don’t dry or you’re getting ceiling leaks remember to check the screen.
