The way I install booster fans is done very deliberately. With 20+ years of experience, I know how to do it right. I want to leave the booster fan and dryer duct in such a way that it’s easy for the dryer duct cleaners to clean your ducts. Many times, booster fans are installed in such a way that makes it very difficult for duct cleaners to service the ducts. Every week I find ducts that have never been cleaned because the booster fan was installed in such a way that it was blocking the duct cleaners. Some of these ducts haven’t been cleaned in 10 years, 20 year and some much longer than that.
